General Questions

1.) What are your hours of operation?

Office hours are Monday through Saturday from 10am - 5pm.

Comedy Show Questions

1.) What times are your shows?

Our show schedule is as follows:

Selected  Thursdays: reserved for special events and benefits shows    8:00pm  (Seating begins at 7:15pm)
 

Friday:              8:00pm (Seating begins at 7:00pm)
                         10:30pm (Seating begins at 9:45pm)
 

Saturday:          8:00pm (Seating begins at 7:00pm)
                         10:30pm (Seating begins at 9:45pm)

Selected Sundays:  8:00 pm (Seating begins at 7:15pm)
 

2.) How much are tickets to your shows?

Tickets for our normal shows are $15.00 per person. We often run different specials that can be found on our website here. You can also fill out one of our "Win a Party" cards here at the Showcase for a chance to win free tickets for you and 5 of your friends.

3.) Do we need to make reservations?

Yes!  Reservations guarantee your seats however where your seat is located in the showroom is decided on a first come, first serve basis.   So arrive early if you have a specific place you and your party would like to sit.

4.) Is there a dress code inside the club?

Yes there is. We do not allow cut off shorts, or tank tops.   However, walking shorts are permitted and T-shirts with a collar are also permitted.

5.) How much are your drinks?

We price our drinks competitively with other bars around the area. Our drinks range in price from $4.00 to $8.25

6.) Is there a drink minimum?

Yes, we have a 2 drink minimum per person inside the showroom. We are not trying to encourage anyone to break their 12 step  program so, coffee, soda, juice, frozen or virgin beverages,  bottled water,  or alcohol are all counted towards the drink minimum.

7.) Are your comedians funny?

(We love this question!) The management of the Comedy Showcase has found that it is very hard to retain a customer base when you hire comedians that can not make anyone laugh. While tastes in comedy vary greatly, we book nationally touring comedians that appeal to a wide variety of customers.


Defensive Driving Questions

1.) When do you offer classes?

We offer defensive driving classes on the following days:

          Comedy Showcase Location:
                Friday: 10am-4pm
               Saturday: 9am-3pm
               Sunday: 9am-3pm
               Every other Wednesday (in our showroom)  from 3:30pm - 9:30pm)

          Pearland Location:

          Every other Wednesday from 4pm-10pm
          This class is held at the I-HOP at the corner of SH 288 and FM 518.

2.) How much are your classes?

Our class costs $40.00. This is payable in cash or money order at the time you show up to take the class.

3.) Are you a state certified school?

Yes we are!  (TEA # CO-568) The Comedy Showcase's defensive driving school is certified by the State of Texas. You do need to get permission from your court before taking  the class.  This 6 hour class is for ticket dismissal and insurance purposes.

4.) How long does it take to get my certificate?

The state says that defensive driving schools have up to 15 business days to deliver your certificate of completion. Most of our customers receive them in 5-10 business days. If this is not fast enough, we offer a 2-3 day rush service as well as an overnight delivery service via courier. Both of these options have an additional fee associated with them.

5.) Are your instructors funny?

 Yes!!!  We have been teaching "funny defensive driving" since 1992.  We only have headlining stand-up comedians teach our defensive driving classes. Each of our instructors has performed for audiences across the country.
